Holiday Ayo - PT Kereta Api Indonesia China (KCIC) ensures that currently several accesses to the Jakarta-Bandung Fast Train (KCJB) station are still being worked on.

As cited from Republika.co.id, Main Director of KCIC Dwiyana Slamet Riyadi said one of the things that was still being built was access to Halim Station.

"Currently we are in the process of progressing with WIKA, namely at the end of the DI Panjaitan road (towards KCJB Halim Station) which is seven meters wide we are widening it into an access road to and from Halim Station by widening and building a bridge because at the midpoint there is a river," said Dwiyana in working meeting with Commission V DPR, Thursday (8/12/2022).

Dwiyana targets that the main access road can support KCJB operations at Halim Station. According to him, DI Panjaitan Street is relatively reachable from all road routes to and from Halim Station which was originally planned for Kali Malang. The next access is from the Jabodebek LRT Station which connects KCJB passengers.

"Once you get off Halim Station from the direction of Bandung, you can move to the Jabodebek LRT towards the city along the route served by the LRT," said Dwiyana.

Likewise access to Padalarang, Tegalluar, and Karawang Stations. Specifically for Karawang and Padalaramg Stations, Dwiyana said KCIC is working with developers around the stations.

"Development of access uses their (developers) own costs. For example in Karawang, Delta Mas is ready to build a bridge so that there is connectivity between Karawang Station and its area by allocating Rp 125 billion," said Dwiyana.

Previously, the Directorate General of Railways of the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) also made sure to provide the Jakarta-Bandung fast train (KCJB) operation integration facility. Acting Director General of Railways of the Ministry of Transportation Risal Wasal said this was done to support Jakarta-Bandung connectivity.

Risal said, the first facility is the integration of the Halim KCJB Station with mass transportation in Jabodetabek, namely the Jabodebek LRT and Transjakarta.

"This is through the construction of an integration facility in the form of a skybridge building at Halim," said Risal.

Furthermore, Risal ensured that there was integration support at KCJB Padalarang Station with train services (KA) in Bandung Raya. This support is through an integration facility that connects KCJB Padalarang Station so that it is connected to the Bandung Raya area train as a feeder.
