Opens Narita-Bali Route, Garuda Indonesia Hopes to Help The Recovery of the Tourism Sector

The Narita (Tokyo)-Denpasar return flight will then be operated three times a week, namely on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Flights from Narita (Tokyo) will be served by GA 880 which departs from Narita International Airport at 11.00 am and arrives at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport at 18.05 pm.

Meanwhile, the Denpasar-Narita (Tokyo) flight will be served by GA881 and depart at 00.25 am and then arrive at Narita International Airport at 08.40 am.

Garuda Indonesia President Director Irfan Setiaputra said the re-operation of the Narita (Tokyo)-Denpasar flight was Garuda Indonesia's effort to provide air connectivity to support efforts to evenly distribute the national economic recovery. Especially Bali, as one of the strategic tourism hubs in the Central region of Indonesia.

Irfan said, through Bali, foreign tourists can go to various leading destinations in Indonesia such as Labuan Bajo, Lombok, Kupang, and Makassar.

This is expected to support the Government's projections in pursuing the target of foreign tourist arrivals to Indonesia in 2022, which is 3.6 million visits.

Furthermore, Irfan hopes that the operation of the route can participate in supporting the progress of leading commodities in the Eastern Indonesia region to the global market with a safe and fast cargo distribution process.

"To coincide with the High-Level Conference (KTT) as the culmination of the G20 Presidency event in Bali in mid-November, it is hoped that the operation of the Narita-Denpasar route can contribute to the smoothness and success of the event with the availability of comfortable and safe air transportation, especially for the participating parties. active in the event," concluded Irfan.
