Advantages of Living in Indonesia as a Tropical Country

Holiday Ayo - As one of the world’s largest countries, Indonesia is home to a diverse range of climatic conditions. The climate in Indonesia shares much with those of nearby Asia-Pacific countries. 

Unfortunately, the country is also vulnerable to threats posed by global warming and climate change.

Indonesia is a country with a tropical climate. As a tropical country, there are a lot of advantages. 

Indonesia has two seasons in one year that is the dry season and the rainy season. This change of season makes Indonesia have lush land, this is what makes most Indonesian people choose farming as the biggest source of income.

The sun shines here all year long with only short periods of rain between December and March. You will not have to experience cold winter seasons at all in Indonesia which makes it a very good place for those who do not like cold weather.

There are many advantages of living in a tropical country, such as not having to buy new winter clothes each year; enjoying the sun anytime during the year; no winter depression, and the ability to wear simple clothes such as a t-shirt all year long.

Indonesia is a fantastic place to live for everyone who likes tropical weather.

1. Get enough Rain

We know that rain has many functions. Rainwater is needed by plants to be able to carry out the process of growth or photosynthesis. That's why Indonesia is a country with a lot of variety of plants, lush forests, and the become ‘lungs’ of the world.

2. Sunshine

The influence of the tropical climate in Indonesia is the cause of the high intensity of sunshine. Sunlight is needed by plants for photosynthesis. More precisely, to make food reserves. For animals, Solar energy is beneficial for health. One of them is cold-blooded animals, such as reptiles, fish, and amphibians. 

That's why Indonesia is inhabited by many animals. You can find forest deer, jaguar, tiger, lemur, and sloth. For bird species, there are hummingbirds, paradise birds, cassowaries, toucans, eagles to macaws. There are also various species of frogs, anaconda snakes, salamanders, and others. For humans, obviously, the sun has many benefits

3. The temperature is not extreme

The temperature difference between day and night is not too extreme. The temperature conditions are normal, not too hot, and not too cold. In the tropics, there is not much change between winter and summer. This condition makes humans carry out economic activities throughout the year by predicting and managing the right time.

The rainy season usually occurs in October-March, while the dry season occurs in April-September. 

As a result, Indonesia has fertile land because of the changing seasons that repeat regularly. This condition makes most Indonesians work as farmers and fishermen.
