Holiday Ayo - Jisoo has made history in her solo career. The BLACKPINK member finally debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with her duet single with Zayn, "Eyes Closed."

The Billboard Hot 100 is a weekly chart that tracks the most popular songs in the United States. While this isn't Jisoo's first solo release to reach U.S. listeners, "Eyes Closed" marks her first solo track on the chart.

"Eyes Closed" debuted at #72 on the Billboard Hot 100 this week. This also includes other Billboard chart achievements such as #7 on Digital Song Sales, #10 on Global Excl. U.S., and #20 on the Global 200.

With this achievement, BLACKPINK is now the first and only K-Pop girl group to have all of its members' solo projects chart on the Hot 100. So impressive!

The Billboard Hot 100 debut added to the already impressive achievements of "Eyes Closed," including a debut at #21 on the Spotify Global chart with 3,258,898 streams on its first day of release.

"Eyes Closed" was well-received by music listeners in China. First-day digital sales on QQ Music reached 38,000 copies. Cumulatively, "Eyes Closed" sold 123,000 copies.

This achievement made "Eyes Closed" the best-selling collaboration single of 2025 in China.

According to Maeil Business Newspaper, "Eyes Closed" reached #1 on the iTunes Top Singles chart in 40 countries on its release day.

The appearance of Zayn, who rarely releases music, also made this single a hit with fans of the former One Directioner.

"Eyes Closed" credits Jisoo and ZAYN as writers. The song was produced by Isaiah Tejada, The Monsters & Strangers, and Alex Hope. was written with a series of songwriters such as Kiddo A.I (who wrote a series of LE SSERAFIM hit singles like CRAZY and EASY), Alex Hope (who wrote "Wild, Blue," and "Lucky Strike," sung by Troye Sivan), and also Isaiah Tejada (who worked with Rosé on the song "two years").
