Babahan Crystal Water is a tourist destination in the form of water games in the river. The location is in Babahan Village, Penebel District, Tabanan Regency, Bali. In 2021, this destination will be developed by the local government. Babahan Crystal Water is a tubing tour along a small river called Subak Aya for about 900 meters.

Why is it called Crystal Water?

Because the flow of water here is really clear, crystal clear. The most fun doing water games together with your beloved family. The route starts from Babahan Crystal Water in Banjar Utu then follows Subak Ayu and ends at Banjar Bolangan. Later you have to ride a tire that is used to explore the subak. The entry ticket is IDR 10,000, including tire rental. Plus the parking fee is only IDR 2,000.

During the trip along Subak Aya, you will find beautiful scenery and passion fruit plants. There are also other plants that are on the edge of the irrigation canal. Another activity that can be done while at the location is enjoying the very instagramable panorama of the terraced rice fields. Here there is a place to take pictures with the background of rice fields.

Near the sightseeing location, you can see a temple called Pura Pajenengan Bangkiang Sidem as a place of worship for the local community. Except for tracing irrigation canals, you are allowed to bathe, as the locals do.

The right time to visit the location is during the dry season. You can feel the panorama of beautiful rice fields freely. Other facilities provided except the parking area are food stalls. Having lunch with the family to feel the view of the rice fields is a very delicious moment. Tourist visiting hours are from 9 am to 1 pm.

The natural atmosphere of the beautiful Babahan countryside deserves to be used as an area to relieve fatigue. Babahan village is a village with an area of 431 ha. This village includes a zone of rice fields, gardens, agricultural land, forests, and common facilities. Except for Babahan Crystal Water, in this village, you can go to another tourist location, namely the Iron Necklace Waterfall which is only 300 meters from Crystal Water.

The route from Tabanan City Center is Gelatik Street – Gajah Mada – Kaswari – Merak – Gunung Agung – Batukaru – Raya Buruan – Raya Babahan Senganan – Raya Senganan – arriving at the location on the left side of the road. Travel time by motorbike is about 35 minutes.
