In addition to increasing agricultural production, farmers claim that the use of fertilizers is more efficient and plant growth is maximized.

Currently, the fertilizer recommendation service can only be used in the areas of Java and Lampung.

Dardi, a farmer from Jatimulyo, said that thanks to using Sipindo through the daily weather feature, he knows the prediction of when it will rain, so he can make decisions about what agricultural activities he will do that day.

Sipindo CEO Muhammad Reza Sanjaya said Sipindo has many features that are expected to be able to help farmers, starting from predicting the weather in more detail, recommending the amount of fertilizer needed based on location and also guidelines for carrying out good and correct agricultural practices towards sustainable agriculture.

"This application developed by Ewindo is also a manifestation of our motto, which is to be the best friend for farmers," said Muhammad Reza Hanjaya, in a press release.

This android-based application is Ewindo's initiation for more than 30 years of experience in the development of the horticultural seed business in Indonesia. Since its launch in April 2017, this application has been downloaded by more than 120,000 farmers who cover the areas of Java, Sumatra, Kalimantan, Bali-Nusra, Sulawesi to Papua. The largest user growth was in Java by 54.2 percent and Sumatra by 22.5 percent.
