Jurassic World Rebirth Film Earns IDR 5.19 Trillion in 5 Days

Holiday Ayo - The Jurassic World Rebirth film successfully earned IDR 5.19 trillion in revenue in just five days of screening globally.
The film also became the box office champion during the long US Independence Day (Fourth of July) holiday and is predicted to be one of the biggest films of this summer.
"This series has always performed exceptionally in the overseas market," said David A. Gross, an analyst from FranchiseRe as quoted by Variety on Monday (7/7).
“The dinosaur action can be understood in all languages and cultures," he added.
Despite its success, the opening figures for Jurassic World Rebirth were lower than previous Jurassic World films.
This indicates a decline in the appeal of the franchise that has been around for more than 30 years since it first appeared through Jurassic Park in 1993.
For the record, the Jurassic World Rebirth film was produced by Universal Pictures with a budget of around IDR 2.93 trillion.
This budget is considered more economical than the three previous films, each of which spent up to IDR 4.07 trillion.
Jurassic World Rebirth stars Scarlett Johansson, Jonathan Bailey, and Mahershala Ali. Jurassic World Rebirth is directed by Gareth Edwards and written by original Jurassic Park writer David Koepp.
