Jewish Emmy Winner Hannah Einbinder Reaffirms Pro-Palestinian Stance

Jewish-American actress Hannah Einbinder voiced her support for Palestinian independence during her acceptance speech at the 2025 Emmy Awards. Einbinder won the award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the comedy series Hacks.
In her brief remarks, she ended with a powerful statement:
“Finally, go birds, f*** ICE, free Palestine. Thank you,” she declared in her televised speech.
Einbinder went on to emphasize her views regarding Jewish identity and the issue of Israel.
“I feel it is my responsibility as a Jew to distinguish Judaism from Israel, because our religion and culture are institutions of deep, long-standing significance that are completely separate from an ethnonationalist state of this kind,” she asserted.
She also highlighted her personal connection to the Palestinian cause, revealing that she has a close friend working on the frontlines in Gaza as a medical professional, providing healthcare for pregnant women and children in refugee camps.
Additionally, Einbinder confirmed her decision to sign a boycott pledge against Israeli film institutions.
