Rengganis Suspension Bridge is built to help tourists access Rengganis Crater. This crater has a historical value in the fact that it was created from the eruption of ancient Sunda Volcano that happened millions of years ago. It is still active even until today. There is a pool at the location of the crater where people can bathe or swim. It is believed that the sulhpur water in the pool can cure many illnesses.

Other than as an access to Rengganis Crater, Rengganis Suspension Bridge also has a charm of its own as a tourist destination. There are many Instagrammable phot spots along the bridge. Tourists can also enjoy the 360 degree view of the area at the height of 80 meters above the ground from up there. The best time to come to the bridge is in the afternoon right before sunset. The scenery looks even more beautiful during this time of day.

Rengganis Suspension Bridge is located in Rancabali, Ciwidey, South Bandung, West Java. This bridge has only been officially opened on May 4th 2022. The Regent of Bandung, Dadang Supriatna says that this suspension bridge is 370 meters long, which makes it the longest in South East Asia. The previous longest suspension bridge is Situ Gunung Bridge in Sukabumi, which is 243 meters long.

The administrator of Rengganis Suspension Bridge, Marcelinus says that they had planned the construction since 2020, but the process was halted due to the pandemic. The safety is already guaranteed, but visitors still have to use the safety rope just in case when they are walking along the bridge. They are also forbidden to play around on it, especially swinging it from side to side.
