The art of the Renggong Horse itself began to appear in 1910. At that time a child named Sipan was entrusted by the Prince of Mecca to take care of his horse. Not only being treated, but Sipan also observed the movement of the feet, which were then used as the basic movement for the horse to dance.
The basic movement is Adean, which is a horse's running movement across the cross, Torolong is a short step of a horse's legs with a fast tempo, and Congklang is a fast running of a horse's legs that are both stretched forward. In addition, there is also Jagrog, which is an ordinary running movement.
Not only good at dancing, but these horses are also trained to perform with the handler. Various charming poses can also be dangerous to do, similar to the martial arts scene. It's as if the show horses are able to interact and cooperate with humans. Not infrequently the Renggong Horse is also dubbed the Silat Horse.
