The waterfall is quite high as 28 meters, there is also a waterfall that is quite famous, namely Superman's Big Sister Waterfall which has a height of about 10 meters, then there is the Jump Ulysess Waterfall as high as 8 meters, there is also the Takatsavone Waterfall which has a height of also 8 meters, Sister Morphine Waterfall with a 5-meter drop of water and many other stunning waterfalls.

To reach this waterfall, a traveler takes about 2 to 3 hours of trekking. Travelers who come to visit this cave, of course, must be accompanied by a professional guide. In addition to being accompanied by a guide, all equipment for caving will also be loaned, such as flashlights, vests, and cave shoes.

Barat Cave takes its name from the Javanese language, namely 'west' which means 'wind'. Local residents gave the name Barat Cave, because from inside the cave always blows the wind out of the mouth of the cave. The wind that comes out of the mouth of Barat Cave is very strong until the trees in front of the cave make loud noises.



In addition to presenting a unique and exciting experience enjoying the beauty of dozens or even hundreds of waterfalls in the bowels of this earth, the view of the stalactites and stalagmites inside which are still original and untouched by human hands, is also the target of cave explorers. Various types of rare and unique rocks can be found in Barat Cave, such as curtain stones, beard stones, crystal stones, curtain stones, bud stones, and many other very interesting types of rocks.

Overall, the depths of Barat Cave have not been mapped. Currently, it has only reached 6.1 kilometers which are safe to be traced and mapped. Most of the Barat Cave route taken is a dark zone. Because the water that flows underneath is so clear, the flashlights held by the cave walkers reflect off the water and become refracted, thus producing multiple illuminations. If the number of walkers is more than five people, of course, the light will also be more and more.



The water in the cave, which is quite clear, is a place for aquatic creatures such as fish, crabs, shrimp, and others to live. However, never try to catch it. Because this is one of the prohibitions and taboos that the explorers of Barat Cave do when entering this cave.

To reach the location of Barat Cave, Travelers can start their journey from Gombong, then take a west direction, namely Dewi Sartika Street, then turn right onto Nasional III Street and then take a position towards Karang Bolong Street. Then, choose Kuwarasan-Jatijajar Street or also known as Highway Bangumudal. Then, follow the signposts to go to Barat Cave.
