Sojomerto Inscription, Historical Tour in Central Java

It also contains the family names of Dapunta Syailendra. His father's name is Santanu, his mother's name is Badrawati, and his wife's name is Sampula. This inscription is also evidence of the presence of the Syailendra family on the north coast of Java.
Then the possibility also arises that Dapunta Syailendra is one of the Kings of the Sriwijaya Kingdom. This is related to the expedition carried out by the Sriwijaya Kingdom to the island of Java as written on the Kota Kapur Inscription.

Pallawa-style writing with a neat structure makes for an amazing thing. This thing is actually in the people's yard. Around him was a fence protecting the inscription.
While the shape has a height of 78 centimeters, a length of 43 centimeters, and a thickness of 7 centimeters, this stone has a shape that is still intact. Almost all of the sculptures can be seen clearly. Only a few are slightly lost due to erosion with age. The missing parts of the sculpture are mostly on the right and left sides.
