Holiday Ayo -  Ranu Kumbolo is a mountainous lake located in Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park, East Java, Indonesia.

The lake is part of the easiest route from Ranu Pani to Mount Semeru peak. The altitude of the lake is 2.400 meters above sea level.

This spot is so popular for camping. You can find pictures of people camping here everywhere.

How to Get There

Getting to Ranu Kumbolo isn't gonna be easy. The route was pretty tough. So taking a physical exercise 2 weeks before going is recommended.

To reach Ranu Kumbolo, you can climb either Watu Rejeng or Ayek-Ayek Hill.

That's why I told you this is going to be tough because you gotta climb.

But don't worry, you won't regret having to climb because the scenery you will see is a piece of heaven. To get to Mount Semeru, people have to pass Ranu Kumbolo.

If you are now in Malang, you can take public transportation and stop at Tumpang Terminal.

From there, you can use a car rented by local people to Ranu Pani.
