The name Paris Van Java actually came during the Dutch colonialism era in Indonesia, to be precise, around the 1920s. During that time, Aceh Street and Braga Street became the center of fashion and entertainment. This made the area look more like Europe, particularly Paris. This is the time when Bandung began to be called “Paris Van Java”.

As its name suggests, Paris Van Java uses a European theme, making it look like Paris. Paris Van Java is a mall that provides a shopping center, culinary services, entertainment, and even educational tourism. The shopping center sells items from inside and outside the country.

There are several cafes and restaurants both indoor and outdoor. The foods that are served vary from local cuisine like Sundanese food or international cuisine like European food.

For entertainment, there are karaoke and ice skating rinks at the Sky Level. There are also a Mini Zoo and a mini-farm called Lactasari Mini Farm. It has many kinds of animals like birds, rabbits, and goats. It is a good educational facility for children and you are also permitted to feed the animals there.

You do not have to pay to enter Paris Van Java. However, some facilities like the karaoke and the Sky Level do require entrance tickets. The price ranges from IDR 30,000 to IDR 50,000.
