Enjoying the Beauty of Pinang Seribu Waterfall

Holiday Ayo - Pinang Seribu Waterfall is one of the most popular natural attractions in Samarinda City.
This tourist area is very suitable for holidays with family because there are many other supporting facilities, such as a game area with an artificial lake, there are water bikes or water tricycles, waterfall passes, and a suspension bridge that is about 15 meters.
Pinang Seribu Waterfall is a waterfall with a not too high level of the waterfall, which is about 5 meters with a slope of 45 degrees, and a panoramic view of the surrounding nature in the form of large rocks that dominates.
In this tourist spot, there is also a cliff with a fairly large gap, with a diameter of about 2 meters. So it is enough to be used for playing water. If a traveler wants to climb onto the rocks, be careful because there is a lot of moss around the footrests.
Pinang Seribu Waterfall has very clear water, although occasionally at certain times the water conditions turn brown because the water current is very heavy when in the rainy season, but this does not reduce the natural beauty presented in this area. This water current does not fall directly into the pool below but flows through the stone steps along the path of the falling water. This waterfall looks like stairs. Because this waterfall has many steps or stairs, this is what is called the thousand betel nut.
The pool in this waterfall is not too deep, even quite shallow. Even so, Travelers still have to be careful when playing around the pool. The reason is, at the bottom of the pool there is a whirlpool.
The whirlpool can be dangerous if you are not good at swimming because it can be dragged by the current and trapped in the vortex.
The beauty of the nature around this waterfall is also one of the attractions so that many tourists come to visit. The surrounding natural panorama in the form of trees so dominates this area, the green trees above the waterfall, also on the left and right of the waterfall, create shade and cool air around.
Pinang Seribu Waterfall is located in North Sempaja, North Samarinda District, Samarinda City, East Kalimantan.
From the center of the City of Tepian, nicknamed Samarinda, it is only about 12 kilometers and will take about 15-20 minutes to travel. To get to this waterfall, a traveler must pass through a village of residents to the end of Jalan Pinang Seribu.
Although access to the location is a bit difficult, the journey will not be felt, because it is distracted by the sound of gurgling water falling into the river, plus the green expanse of nature in the Bengkuring area.
