Camping at D’bunder View

Holiday Ayo - Cited from kompas.com, during the pandemic, camping is one of the best alternative vacation activities. There are many camping sites you can visit in Indonesia. One of them is D’bunder View in Pamijahan District, Bogor Regency, West Java Province.
This camping site is called “D’bunder View” because it is located on Mount Bunder. From there, you can see Mount Salak and the whole city below. This place has only been opened since 2020.
At D’bunder View, you can refresh your mind with the cool air and the beautiful scenery of the green rice fields. The view is especially beautiful in the morning during the sunrise. At night, you can enjoy the view of the city lights while having barbeque time with your friends.
At D’bunder View, visitors can bring their own tents or rent one from the administrators. If you bring your own tent, then the entrance ticket is priced pay 30 thousand Rupiah, which does not include some items like beds, lamps, cooking utensils, and many others. If you rent a tent, then the entrance ticket is priced 20 thousand Rupiah.
D’bunder View offers several camping packets. Most of the facilities in the packets are the same. The real difference is in the size of the tents. If you only come in pair or a group of 3, then you can take the smaller tent with the fee of 150 thousand Rupiah per night.
If you come to D’bunder View with a group of 4 to 5 people, you can rent a tent with the fee of 250 thousand Rupiah per night. But if you come with family that consists of 6 to 7 people, then you have to rent a bigger tent, with the fee of 350 thousand Rupiah per night.
Each packet already includes facilities and items like mattresses, pillows, lamps, sleeping bags, bathrooms, electricity, parking area, and 24/7 security. There is also a VIP tent that is priced 1 million Rupiah with all the facilities and items with the addition of cooking utensils. But even if you choose the cheaper packet, you can still rent cooking utensils and barbeque equipment with the fee being 15 thousand and 30 thousand Rupiah respectively.
The camping site does not provide food ingredients so campers have to bring their own. But they do have a cafe for campers that do not want to cook.
