US F-22 Raptor fighter aircraft will land in Indonesia for the first time

Holiday Ayo - Indonesia will receive the F-22 Raptor stealth fighter from the United States Air Force or US Pacific Air Forces.
The fighter aircraft from the 27th Fighter Squadron will be hot pit refueling in Bali.
“This visit marks a historic moment, because for the first time an F-22 Raptor aircraft will land and transit in Indonesia," wrote the Indonesian Air Force, quoted on the official Instagram account, Tuesday (18/6).
There are six F-22 Raptor fighter jets that will transit in Indonesia. The F-22 Raptor will next take part in the multinational military exercise Pitch Black 24 in Australia in August.
Members of the Indonesian Air Force (TNI AU) and US Pacific Air Forces (US PACAF) previously completed the 2024 Iron Blade Fighter Interaction Site Survey and Fighter Logistic Subject Matter Expert Exchange (SMEE) at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Air Base, Badung from 11 to 13 June 2024.
Site survey was carried out in preparation for the arrival of six F-22 Raptor aircraft from the 27th Fighter Squadron.
Apart from the site survey, there were also Fighter Logistic SMEE activities involving pilots and technicians from Air Squadron 3 at Iswahjudi Air Base and Air Squadron 16 at Roesmin Nurjadin Air Base.
The F-22 Raptor is scheduled to carry out hot pit refueling in Bali before continuing its journey to Brunei Darussalam.
These pilots and technicians gained experience and knowledge from US PACAF personnel regarding preparation for expeditionary missions and rapid deployment in operational areas.
