1. Cincinnati Art Museum

The Cincinnati Art Museum, founded in 1881, is located in the city's Eden Park cultural district. The neo-classical building has a collection of more than 60,000 objects. Highlights include an extensive collection of locally made Rookwood Pottery, a variety of American and European portraits, and the largest collection of ancient Nabataean art outside Jordan. The Cincinnati Art Museum is open Tuesday - Sunday from 11 am to 5 pm and on Wednesday until 9 pm.

2. Horseshoe Casino Cincinnati

Horseshoe Casino Cincinnati, a sister casino to Cleveland's Horseshoe Casino, opened March 4, 2013. The casino, located in the heart of downtown, has 100,000 square feet of 24/7 gaming space with 2,000 slot machines, 85 table games and a 31-room poker room out of Horseshoe Casino Cincinnati isn't all about the games. The urban casino will eventually have four restaurants. The first, Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville opened with a casino.

3. Cincinnati Reds Baseball

The Ohio National League baseball team, the Cincinnati Reds, play at Great American Ball Park, located on the banks of the Ohio River in downtown Cincinnati. This park, completed in 2003, has a capacity of just over 42,000 and beautiful river views. The Reds frequently met the Cleveland Indians during interleague play.

4. Kings Island Amusement Park

Kings Island, opened in 1972, is located northeast of Cincinnati in Mason, Ohio. The 364-acre family fun park is open from May to October each year. The park has 41 rides, including 13 coasters and three water rides. The centerpiece of Kings Island is a 1/3 scale replica of the central location of the Eiffel Tower.
