Rows of Cheap Places to Eat with the Bib Gourmand Michelin Predicate in Singapore

Holiday Ayo - Singapore is known as one of the world's culinary centers and has been approved by the Michelin Guide, the world's prestigious culinary guide.
Currently, the Michelin Guide Singapore has again launched a list of places to eat Bib Gourmand. A total of 19 places to eat are newcomers, 17 of which are located in hawker centers, aka Singapore street food centers.
Bib Gourmand is a list issued by the Michelin Guide, a prestigious dining guide in the world from France. The title of 'Bib Gourmand' is carried by places to eat that offer delicious menus at affordable prices.
Most recently, the Singapore Michelin Guide has reintroduced a place to eat that is included in Bib Gourmand. As reported by the South China Morning Post (21/6), the number is 19 this year, making 79 places to eat in the land of Lions now on the Bib Gourmand list.
The announcement of Bib Gourmand in Singapore will take place on 15 June 2023. Later on 27 June 2023, a restaurant with a Michelin Guide star will be announced.
"Our inspection team found many food outlets with delicious dishes from different ethnic groups, each with their own secret recipe," said Gwendal Poullennec, international director of the Michelin Guide.
The 2 restaurants that received Singapore's newest Bib Gourmand are Kok Sen and The Coconut Club. Kok Sen is considered legendary because it is already 5 decades old. Its flagship menu, tze char, is a variety of home-cooked Chinese Hokkien dishes.
For The Coconut Club, famous for its fragrant nasi lemak. The coconut milk used is not arbitrary, but from coconuts that are processed using special technology by a former Formula One motor racing engineer.

1. Adam Rd Noo Cheng Big Prawn Noodle
Located at Adam Food Centre, #01-27, this outlet serves shrimp noodles as a mainstay menu. Noodles are formulated from the owner's father's recipe. You can order fried noodles wrapped in prawn paste, aka shrimp paste, which you can choose the level of spiciness.
Prawn noodles will be served with a bowl of prawn soup. Pork rind topping is also available to add texture to the dish.
2. Bahrakath Mutton Soup
Still at the Adam Food Centre, there is Bahrakath Mutton Soup which is worth trying according to the Michelin Guide. This outlet has been around since 1973 serving goat soup as its main menu.
"The broth is rich and full of herbaceous flavours. Besides the leg of goat, try other cuts of goat as well," writes the Michelin Guide. Visitors can also order bread to enjoy soup with other delicious blends.
3. Beach Road Fish Head Bee Hoon
Vermicelli is served deliciously at Beach Road Fish Head Bee Hoon in Whampoa Makan Place. The topping is fish head with 'milky' fish broth. There is also the addition of fried garlic which gives extra crunch and aroma.
Apart from fish broth, visitors can order other broths. There are choices of tom yam and seafood. Fried vermicelli is also available for those who don't want soup.
