Holiday Ayo - In the last few days, there have been rumors that Instant Noodles in Indonesia will experience a 3-fold price increase, this makes noodle lovers nervous because Indonesia is the country that consumes the most instant noodles in the world after China.

Cited data from CNN Indonesia, World Instant Noodles Association, Wednesday (10/8), in the last five years until 2021, Indonesian people's consumption of instant noodles continues to increase.

It was recorded that in 2017, the number of instant noodle consumption was 12.62 billion servings. That figure had dropped in 2018 to 12.54 billion portions.

In 2019, instant noodle consumption in Indonesia fell slightly to 12.52 billion portions. However, in 2020 the consumption of instant noodles in the country again rose to 12.64 billion portions.

Last year, the total consumption of instant noodles in the country was 13.27 billion portions.

Meanwhile, the first position in the country with the most instant noodle consumption last year was occupied by China/Hong Kong with 43.99 billion portions.
