Not Just Singapore, These Are the 10 Best Cities in the World to Explore at Night

Holiday Ayo - For a city as small as Singapore, there are so many things to do. From enjoying parks and gardens, spending a day at attractions like Universal Studios Singapore and Gardens by the Bay, to crazy shopping in Orchard, the list is endless.
However, if you want to avoid the scorching sun during the day, Singapore also offers plenty of entertainment after dark.
This is proven by a recent study from long-distance travel specialist, Travelbag.
Reporting from Time Out, Travelbag analyzed more than 100 major cities in the world, considering the volume of Instagram hashtags, levels of light and noise pollution, safety scores after dark, and the number of places and attractions that are open until late at night.
The result is a list of the 10 best cities in the world for night tourism, and Singapore managed to occupy the 4th position on the list.
One of the reasons is, Travelbag found that Singapore has almost 450 places that are open until late at night.
This includes the usual suspects like bars (which are among the world’s best) and nightclubs (both mainstream and under-the-radar).
But don’t forget about the other attractions you can visit after dinner: how about a moonlit ride on the Singapore Flyer or a lively karaoke session at a KTV studio? Best of all, there are plenty of eateries to fill your stomach.
The real deciding factor, though, is that Singapore is incredibly safe. The city scored 77 out of 100 for safety after dark.
While it only ranks sixth on this list behind Abu Dhabi (87 points) and Taipei (85 points), experience has proven that Singapore is one of the rare places in the world where you can walk around at night with little fear.
