1. Maimun Palace

Known as a relic from the Deli kingdom, this tourist spot in North Sumatra, known as the Maimun palace, was built on an area of 2,700 m2 with a very strong Malay design. 

When you stop at this tourist spot, there are lots of historical relics, ranging from photographs, furniture to weapons that were once used for certain purposes. Don't miss to see the King's throne.

2. Sigura-Gura Waterfall

Having a height of about 250 meters, this tourist spot in North Sumatra, here in after known as the Sigura-Gura Waterfall, has a water source that comes from the Asahan River with its upstream part in Lake Toba. 

Not surprisingly, this waterfall has a very fast current. Some of the activities that you can do while on vacation at the highest waterfall in Indonesia are swimming or rafting.

3. Sipiso – Piso Waterfall

Back again with waterfalls in North Sumatra. A tourist spot in North Sumatra called Sipiso - Piso Waterfall is located in Brand District, Karo Regency and can be reached in 2 hours from Kebanjahe which is the capital of Karo. 

To reach and enjoy the beauty of the waterfall, you need to go down the stairs which are approximately 100 pieces. Even though it's far away, your tiredness will pay off with the extraordinary beauty of nature.

4. Linting Lake

One of the unique tourist attractions in North Sumatra, Lake Linting, is found in the lake water which tends to be hot. 

For those of you who are curious about this hot lake, you can go to the village of Mount Manumpak, as well as the village of Durian IV Mbelang, which is the location of this area in the Sinembah Tanjung Muda Hulu sub-district, Deliserdang Regency. 

It should be noted that this lake has a depth of approximately 100 m, so you must be careful. Another uniqueness that you can see from this tourist spot in North Sumatra is that the lake water is Tosca green as a result of the sulfur content in the lake water. 

If you are curious about the beautiful charm of this tour, you have to take at least 2 hours from Medan with really poor road conditions.
