Quoted from Sea Mashable, the durian is the Pak Chong-Khao Yai variety. The durian farmers say that this odorless durian has soft fruit flesh. However, it is not known for sure why the Pak Chong-Khao Yai durian does not have a pungent odor like other durians.

Aromaless durians are widely cultivated in Nakhon Ratchasima Province. Pak Chong-Khao Yai durian is a type of Monthong durian. Not so long ago they celebrated their first harvest.

The first harvest was celebrated through a Pak Chong district festival and. At that moment, they received geographic indication (GI) certification from the Intellectual Property Department in 2021.
