Lasagna is a type of pasta that is baked in the oven and is one of the traditional Italian dishes. Lasagna literally comes from the word 'lasagne' which means it contains meat. Apart from meat, Lasagna can actually be filled with many other fillings such as vegetables, seafood, and so on.
The skin of the wrapper itself comes from dough made from wheat flour, which is then baked until cooked along with the filling. Lasagna has a savory and delicious taste with a soft texture.
2. Ravioli

Ravioli are a type of dumpling that has a filling inside and is covered with a thin paste dough. Usually Ravioli is enjoyed with sauce and broth to add to the taste. This type of food is included in the dish of traditional Italian cuisine.
Ravioli are generally square, although there are other shapes, such as circles and semi-circles. Ravioli's name originally appeared in private letters belonging to Fransesco di Marco Datini, a merchant from the Prato area in the 14th century.
3. Gelato

The texture and shape of this typical Italian food almost resembles a sorbet, the name Gelato. One of these sweet desserts is indeed very suitable as a dessert menu. This dish is made from a mixture of milk and cream which is processed slowly so that the texture is denser than usual ice cream. This native Italian food is made of several types of ingredients, such as biscuits that have been dipped in coffee, cream cheese, and sprinkled with cocoa powder.
In serving Tiramisu will be frozen first in the freezer. Then it is served cold. Now, Tiramisu is often created with a variety of sweet toppings, from ice cream, chocolate, to fresh fruit.
5. Croissant

Cornetto which means little horn is a typical pastry from Italy. Originally this food was a variation of kipferl cakes from Austria and croissants from France. However, the Cornetto differs from a croissant in that it is softer and contains less butter.
Cornetto's main ingredients are pastry dough in the form of eggs, butter, water and sugar. Apart from that, egg yolk is also rubbed on the surface of the cornetto to get a golden color when it is baked and then given a sweet filling.
