18 Offenses on Climbing Mount Prau

Mount Prau is one of the favorite climbing destinations that also applies rules and sanctions for climbers who violate. The following is a list of 18 violations on the ascent of Mount Prau, quoted from Kompas.com.
1. Unauthorized entry: Paid ticket price and 1 tree seed
2. Throwing garbage carelessly: 5 tree seedlings
3. Making a bonfire: 2 tree seedlings
4. Don't bring trash down: 2 tree seedlings
5. Cutting down trees: 10 tree seedlings
6. Carrying a sharp weapon (more than 30 cm): Items secured and 2 tree seedlings
7. Bringing fireworks: Goods are secured
8. Setting off fireworks: 10 tree seedlings
9. Bringing liquor: 4 tree seedlings
10. Theft: Sentenced and 10 tree seedlings
11. Carrying musical instruments or loudspeakers: Goods secured
12. Caught recklessly carrying a musical instrument or loudspeaker: Items secured and 1 tree seed
13. Picking edelweiss flowers: Returns to its original place and 2 tree seeds
14. Adultery: Handed over to the authorities and 10 tree seedlings
15. Vandalism: 5 tree seedlings
16. Pee in a bottle: 5 tree seedlings
17. Take a bicycle or motorbike for a ride: 10 tree seedlings
18. Bring wet wipes: Items are secured and 10 tree seedlings per item
As for the price of one tree seed, including planting and transportation costs, it is IDR 20,000.
Climbers in groups must also take care of each other so that members do not commit violations. That's because if one person commits a violation, the entire group will be punished.
In addition to the 18 prohibitions, Mount Prau climbers are also prohibited from setting up tents outside the designated area.
